2011-12

In Chris Paul’s first season in L.A., the team went 40-26 in the lockout-shortened season. Despite having less time to build chemistry, the team made the postseason as the fifth seed behind of the stellar play of Paul and Griffin.

The Clippers faced the fourth-seeded Grizzlies in the first round of the postseason. The series was entertaining from the jump, with the Clippers overcoming a 27-point fourth quarter deficit to win Game 1, 99-98. The Clippers would go on to win the series in seven games.

The top-seeded San Antonio Spurs awaited them in the Western Conference semifinals. The Clippers were then defeated by the Spurs in a four-game sweep. Despite being outplayed, it was a great start to the Big 3 era.
