In the later rounds of the draft, teams like to take chances on guys. Arnoldas Kulboka is a player not many people are talking about because he plays overseas. He could be a draft-and-stash candidate for a team, but Kulboka looks like a player who could come over right away to the NBA and make a roster. His physical tools and skills are ideal for today’s NBA.

He is a 6’10” wing who is a fantastic shooter and has good ball-handling skills. Kulboka is from Lithuania and plays for Capo D’Orlando in Italy. The Ringer labeled him as a “fluid, skilled athlete whose ability to stick at the NBA level depends on his physical development.”

Last season for Capo D’Orlando, Kulboka averaged 8.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 0.6 steals in 26.0 minutes per game while shooting 36.6 percent from the field and 36.7 percent from the 3-point line.

NBADraft.net said Kulboka’s “shooting mechanics are excellent. Has a quick and high shooting release, is a great shooter with NBA range on his shot. He can shoot from anywhere on the floor, (and is) very good in spot-up and catch-and-shoot situations.”

The Nuggets could use more shooters on their roster and especially at the wing position. If they feel like Kulboka is ready to come in and contribute right away, they could bring him over for training camp and the preseason to see what he is capable of doing in the NBA. If they would rather have a veteran player right now, they could leave Kulboka in Italy for a season or two.
