Cleveland Cavaliers: 3 adjustments for Game 3 vs. Warriors

The Cleveland Cavaliers find themselves in a 2-0 hole in the 2018 NBA Finals. There are adjustments to be made in Game 3 in order to get back in the series.
First, the bad news: Teams with a 2-0 series lead are 29-4 in NBA Finals history. That’s the hole the Cleveland Cavaliers are in, trailing the Golden State Warriors in the 2018 NBA Finals.
Here’s the good news: The Cavs lost the first two games of the 2016 NBA Finals to the Warriors before rallying back to break a century-long championship curse in Cleveland. Recent history is on their side, but even the novice body language reader can tell Cleveland is deflated.
The Cavaliers looked sluggish on the court and disinterested in the huddle. The team’s season-long chemistry deficiency is being magnified in the playoffs. The messy relationship is manifesting itself in the form of divorce before our very eyes.
If Cleveland has come to terms with its finality, little can be done. If the team is willing to make adjustments, however, there are three quick fixes that can be made to alter the outcome of Game 3.
Game 2 was defined by Cleveland’s poor shooting and inability to defend Stephen Curry. Let’s look deeper at these observations and pinpoint a player that should see more playing time in Game 3.
