6. Massive comeback in Game 2 against Philly

After losing Game 1 of their second round matchup with the Celtics, the 76ers came out in Game 2 looking to even up the series at one apiece.

Building up a lead as high as 22, Philly looked motivated to prove that Game 1 was a fluke for the C’s, as many had predicted the 76ers to win the series due to a perceived talent gap between the historic rivals.

As they’ve done throughout the year, the C’s weren’t having that narrative, coming all the way back in large part to a third quarter that saw them outscore the 76ers 28-19, as Boston would ultimately win by five.

For Boston to defeat the Bucks in the first round was an impressive feat, but the 76ers — led by stars Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid — were allegedly a different beast, one the Celtics were supposed to feel without Kyrie Irving.

Not only did the Celtics take a 2-0 series lead with that victory, they came back from a deficit they had no business coming back from, proving to the NBA world that this team wasn’t lost without Irving and that it could compete with anyone that stood in its way.
