8. So many game-winners

Throughout this past season, the Celtics had a penchant for always being on the winning end of tight games, with Brad Stevens always seeming to draw up the right play at the right time.

Boston ranked first in the entire NBA in go-ahead buckets in the final five seconds of a game, knocking down five big-time shots that provided huge victories both at home and on the road.

Contrary to what many would assume, all five shots weren’t made by Irving, who’s been known to close games that require such skills.

Like every other aspect of their greatness, Boston’s prowess in the clutch was a team effort, with guys ranging from Marcus Morris to Terry Rozier also showcasing their cold-blooded side in breaking the hearts of opposing teams throughout the league.

This clip doesn’t include Al Horford‘s game-winning layup in Game 3 against the 76ers in round two, as Morris floated him a perfect pass for an easy layup, giving Boston a one-point advantage that would eventually lead to a 3-0 lead in the series.

As a team projected to contend for championships for the next decade or so, the Celtics will have to become accustomed to closing out games in the final seconds.

If these six shots are any indication, Boston will be just fine in that department for years to come.
