Reuban sandwiched 76ers writers?

Jacob Reuben appeared on the scene with a similar writing style, with long comments indicating details that are not readily available, and also shared interesting insights and knowledge of Bryan Colangelo’s personal life.  In another 76ers article describing a potential return of Bryan Colangelo to Toronto, Jacob Reuben reacted:

"“ask anybody who knows and works with him: he is the hardest worker and totally committed to Philly. First in the office and last to leave (I am told by 76ers people). He is a decent guy, who are just writing your story without factual information and the fulfill your own preconceived notion about the guy. You should interview him and make the effort to know him before you keep on writing about him.”"

Bryan Colangelo declined an interview, but the Philadelphia 76ers have not declined to investigate. Right now, that investigation is firmly underway.

Hiring a New York Law Firm to handle the matter is costly and distracting, but it does suggest the 76ers believe this matter has enough evidence to warrant the investment.
