Memphis Grizzlies: 5 options for pick No. 32 in 2018 NBA Draft
By Mason McFee
The Memphis Grizzlies are stuck between a rock and a hard place, but the No. 32 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft could help them get out the rut they found themselves in last season.
The Memphis Grizzlies are coming off a disappointing 2017-18 season. Their 22-60 record is tied for the fourth-worst record in franchise history, but that record helped secure the fourth overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft, which they hope to use to select their next face of the franchise.
With an aging core and limited cap room this offseason, what the front office does this summer could be defining for the organization; either helping it rebound quickly, or hindering it for the foreseeable future.
Point guard Mike Conley‘s absence (12 total games played) and Marc Gasol‘s public frustrations with the Grizzlies have been well documented, but the real elephant in the room is Chandler Parsons‘ contract, with a $24.1 million cap hit next season looming like an always injured ominous cloud over a team that is just a season removed from a seventh place finish in the ever-crowded Western Conference.
Memphis fans are assuredly anxious to see what Chris Wallace and co. do in free agency, but until then, have the draft to hold them over — and they should be excited.

In this year’s loaded draft class, the No. 4 pick should bring in a blue chip talent, but Memphis fans should be more excited about the 32nd selection. Here are five potential options that could be available there.
