4. Vincent Edwards, SF/PF — Purdue

Edwards’ senior season was highly productive, much like his other three at Purdue. Edwards stands at 6’8″ with a seven-foot wingspan. Similar to Kenrich Williams, Edwards was a jack-of-all-trades at Purdue. He likely will see time on the wing, but I think he is better suited for a small-ball 4 role.

Edwards probably does not have as much buzz at Kenrich does, but I think he’s the better athlete and defender out of the two. He may even showcase some multi-positional versatility if he proves to have the lateral quickness to stay with quicker wings.

Vincent Edwards is far from a lock to get drafted. He did not even obtain an NBA Draft Combine invitation. However, he will want to be one of the first prospects that teams have on their phone line once the draft ends. A strong Summer League could play Edwards into a roster spot as well.
