The Oklahoma City Thunder have two picks in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft. They will have to do their best to figure out who is the best selection for them at No. 53.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have two picks in the second round of the 2018 NBA Draft at No. 53 and No. 57. The OKC Thunder could be better suited trying to find a player in the first round, but history has proven that quality players can still be found in the second round.

Players like Lou Williams, Draymond Green, Marc Gasol, Kyle Kuzma and Manu Ginobili were all picked in the second round.

For the Thunder, they will have to focus on finding athletic players that can play on both offense and defense. Also the player will have to provide scoring for a lackluster bench unit.

One of the reasons why the Thunder struggled so much this year was just the ability to make shots even though the overall team offensive numbers do not show that. The Thunder were 12th in points per game with 107.9 points per game and 10th in offensive rating with 107.6.

With Russell Westbrook looking like he might be the only star coming back next year, it will be imperative to build around him. That means adding young players that can shoot from outside, move without the ball and play defense.

With that in mind, here are some of the best options for the Thunder at pick No. 53.
