3. Alize Johnson, PF — Missouri State

Continuing the theme of big men, senior Alize Johnson could be on the Lakers’ radar. Johnson spent two years at Frank Phillips College, a junior college in Texas, before transferring to Missouri State.

In his two seasons in college, Johnson started every game for the Bears and averaged a double-double both years. He’s capable of playing both ends of the court, has decent range and good handles for a player his size. Weighing in at 217 pounds, he still needs to put on some muscle to be ready to battle in the paint in the NBA.

After impressing at the NBA Draft Combine, Johnson’s draft stock is on the rise. He may need to shape his physique for the professional level, but his game is NBA-ready. If put in the right situation, he is a rare second round prospect that can play productive minutes his rookie season.

With the Lakers needing skilled big men, Johnson could find himself in the right situation in Los Angeles.
