1. Caleb Martin, SG/SF — Nevada

With equal chance of being available and more of a stable outlook, the ideal player for the Pacers to draft would be Caleb Martin.

The University of Nevada Junior possesses a ton of skill as a wing, including a deadly 3-ball (he shot 40 percent from deep last season). Martin is a mature player, once again fitting the Pacers’ mold, and he is calm and cool in clutch situations.

If drafted, he also would bring in another dynamic similar to Lance Stephenson, in that he has a sense of spacing on the floor. The difference would be often uses that to his own advantage in scoring in unconventional routes to the rack.

The Pacers would be essentially putting a more dynamic player behind Bojan Bogdanovic, who could use a little fire under him after his lackluster elimination game in this year’s playoffs.
