1. LeBron James was clutch

The greats will always show up when the stage is the brightest. Everybody expected nothing but greatness from LeBron James and that’s what he contributed out there on Friday night.

In games where he faced elimination, LeBron was 12-9. Coming into Game 6, he averaged 33.5 points, 10.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game in those elimination games.

LeBron, with his 46 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists, was able to smash his averages in an elimination game and maintain his status as one of the greatest clutch players facing elimination.

Fatigue plagued LeBron in Game 5, but in Game 6 he was able to fight through a leg injury after Larry Nance Jr. crashed into his right leg in the fourth quarter.

The King was able to hit two 3s at the end of the fourth quarter that iced it for the Cavs after it looked like the Celtics were going to make a final push to advance in Game 6.

The first 3 was on Jayson Tatum where he took Tatum on an iso and did a hesitation move into a fadeaway 3 and drilled it.

The second one was in the same spot when LeBron took Tatum on an iso again, only this time he went between the legs, stepped back, and did a hesitation into another 3-point shot.

LeBron will need another superhuman effort like this in Game 7 to lead the Cavs into the Finals. Game 7 will be in Boston though, where Cleveland hasn’t won all series.
