The Cleveland Cavaliers were able to extend their season and force a Game 7 in the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals after a 46-point performance from LeBron James.
The Cleveland Cavaliers would not say die against the Boston Celtics as they were able to beat the Boston Celtics 109-99 in Game 6 Friday night.
The Celtics had a late run in the fourth quarter to keep it close, but the Cavaliers were able to keep the Celtics at bay with the help of two dagger 3-pointers from LeBron James. The King finished with a game-high 46 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists, while George Hill added 20.
The series has been about who can win at home, as no away team has won a game on the other team’s home court. For the Cleveland Cavaliers, it will come down to them being able to win in Boston in Game 7 to get back to the Finals.
It will take another one of these Herculean efforts that LeBron James has put forth at home for the Cavaliers to be able to take Game 7 in Boston, but before we get there, here are three takeaways from Game 6.
