The Denver Nuggets have three picks in the 2018 NBA Draft. The Nuggets were one game away from being a playoff team and can use the draft this summer to improve their roster. Here are five options for their pick at No. 43.

The Denver Nuggets hold the No. 14, 43 and 58 picks in the 2018 NBA Draft. They only need to improve their roster a little bit in hopes of taking the next step and making the playoffs. The Nuggets will most likely keep the No. 14 pick in hopes in finding a valuable player to be on a rookie deal for the next couple seasons.

The Nuggets are set to be $6.4 million over the cap next season. They can try and go out and add some solid veteran players, but their best bet is finding rookies to play on cheap contracts. They already have an excellent young core in Denver and have good veteran players around them. With the No. 43 pick, they aren’t going to find a franchise-changing player, but could look to add a solid contributor off the bench.

The Nuggets could either trade their draft picks to add talent to their roster from other teams or keep some of the picks and develop the guys they draft and hope they can become meaningful NBA players. Most mock drafts have the Nuggets selecting a wing, or guard with pick No. 14.  For pick No. 43, they should be searching for the best player available in the second round.
