The Cleveland Cavaliers were not able to take Game 5 and have not been able to win on the Celtics’ home floor. Here are three takeaways from Game 5 in Boston.

The Cleveland Cavaliers could not win a pivotal road Game 5 against the Boston Celtics, as they lost 96-83 Wednesday night. The Cavaliers came into the game knowing that if they won, they could close out the series on their home court the next game.

Now the Cavs will have to win a Game 7 in Boston to advance to their fourth straight NBA Finals. They haven’t won in Boston all series.

If the Cavaliers want to win at TD Garden, they will have to get better efforts from their supporting cast in the next two games.

LeBron James was admittedly tired in Game 5 and the rest of the team will have to step up if they are going to return to the Finals, where LeBron James has been the last seven years. This may be it for his streak, but before we look too far ahead, here are three takeaways from Game 5.
