Highlights

Bazemore had several memorable games this year. One of them came on March 2 against the defending champion Golden State Warriors. Facing a virtual All-Star team (and JaVale McGee), he put up a career-high 29 points on 10-for-16 shooting.

Baze did most of his damage from beyond the arc, especially from the left elbow, but he also made some plays as a cutter and a ball-handler as well.

Bazemore had another standout game against the New Orleans Pelicans on Jan. 17, dropping 20 points along with five assists. He was ice cold from 3-point range, shooting just 1-for-7, but he used his athleticism and craftiness to generate opportunities closer to the basket. His aggressiveness also opened things up for his teammates offensively.

He had a similar game against the Minnesota Timberwolves a couple of weeks later. He was a major boon to his team, as he finished with a +20 for the game (which the Hawks won). As for his traditional box score numbers, he scored 22 points on 8-for-14 shooting while making half of his eight 3-point attempts.

While most of his shots came as a spot-up shooter, Bazemore also flashed some of his improved playmaking skills, finishing with four assists. He also exhibited his great athleticism on both sides of the floor; he used his speed to vertical bounce to block a Jeff Teague layup early in the game and constantly blew past defenders to get to the tin.
