The Orlando Magic have the sixth pick in the 2018 NBA Draft for the second year in a row. Here are three possible scenarios for what they could do with the pick.

Despite another disappointing season in which the team went 25-57, the Orlando Magic failed to move up in the 2018 NBA Draft Lottery.

The sixth pick they landed on the same place they drafted in 2017, when they took promising forward Jonathan Isaac — a move that looks like a smart one.

While there is every reason to believe that the front office installed last summer will be able to find a suitable player at this spot again, the Magic do have options.

Fans have grown weary of their continued inability to rebuild properly, and are less thrilled than at any point since 2012 at the prospect of continued losing seasons on the horizons.

That’s why this franchise may not be expected to take the best possible player and endure another season of internal growth like in recent seasons.

Certainly the signings of players such as Jonathon Simmons and Marreese Speights during the last offseason signaled a desire to try and take the next step and win more games. We know now that this didn’t happen, but there’s no reason to think they won’t try that tactic again for the upcoming season.

Given how poorly their tanking efforts have gone to date, here are three different options the Magic could utilize ahead of the draft.
