Weaknesses

Lance does indeed have some flaws. While the Lance Effect is great when he is hot, and especially when the team is rolling, he is not the guy who can dig your team out of a hole or spark a change in momentum.

He played significant minutes filling in for Victor Oladipo and Darren Collison in a lot of meaningful losses this season, including key games against the Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics and New Orleans Pelicans.

There is a reason that at one point in his career, he was being passed from team to team like a hot potato.

He can be volatile on the floor and occasionally make bone-headed decisions. He had four turnovers in a pivotal Game 2 loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round to match an equally unimpressive stat line.

The bottom line is that his weaknesses may be tough to swallow at times, but at least they are consistent. He is great in his bench role now, and the Pacers should feel good about him to continue this role next season.
