2018 NBA Draft: 5 reasons Luka Doncic should go No. 1

If you have not familiarized yourself with Luka Doncic by now, you should immediately. Here’s why the Slovenian star should be the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
The No. 1 pick in the 2018 NBA Draft was awarded to the Phoenix Suns after the draft lottery. The Suns are left with the same burning question every NBA fan is pondering: What should they do with first overall selection?
The two most reasonable options for the first pick are Arizona big man Deandre Ayton, or Slovenian superstar wing Luka Doncic. Both have their strengths and weaknesses as prospects and both could easily have NBA careers worthy of a No. 1 pick.
However, Luka Doncic seems to be the clear answer. It’s not because the Suns just hired Igor Kokoskov as their head coach, or because their owner was at the EuroLeague Final Four to get a look at Wonder Boy in person.
While Ayton is a great prospect as well, here’s a look at why Doncic is the clear answer.
