With so many young, potential-laden pieces to work with, the Los Angeles Lakers could get creative with trade packages they assemble this offseason.

There are so many Los Angeles Lakers rumors flying around right now. Are the Lakers the leaders to sign LeBron James? Can they convince the San Antonio Spurs to trade Kawhi Leonard? Maybe a swap with the Oklahoma City Thunder is needed to bring Paul George home?

The list goes on and on. And yet, we have no idea what the future holds for the Lakers.

Then again, Magic Johnson probably likes it that way. As outspoken as he can be about his various desires, he always seems to keep his well-manicured plans close to vest. Chances are he’s already choreographed a number of scenarios in his head, hoping at least one will pan out and return this franchise to relevance.

One scenario could include making a splashy trade this offseason.

Whether it’s to acquire a superstar, add quality contributors to the bench or simply rid this roster of a bad contract, you know Johnson always has a pot or two on the stove. Especially following the recent report that no Laker is untouchable this offseason (via the LA Times‘ Tania Ganguli), it’s safe to assume Magic is keeping nearly every option on the table.

That’s why I’ve decided to take a look at the three Lakers players most likely to be traded this offseason. It’s all my opinion at this point, but these assertions are based off of logic and rumors that we’ve heard over the last year or so. Take it with a grain of salt if you’d like, but don’t be shocked if one (or all of these) three are moved in the near future.
