2. LeBron proceeds with his assault on the record books
Another day, another LeBron James record being captured. Monday night, James was able to pass the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for first all-time in playoff field goals. James as always was humbled even being mentioned with one of the greatest players of all time.
"Anytime I'm in the same breath with the greats, it's just humbling."

What’s most impressive about James breaking Kareem’s record is the short period of time he took capturing it. Abdul-Jabbar played on 18 playoff teams in his 20-year career. LeBron has played on just 13 playoff teams in his 15 NBA seasons. LeBron James’ efficient nature and record-breaking only adds to what has been arguably the best postseason of his career.

LeBron in the 2018 NBA Playoffs:
— Chris Palmer (@ChrisPalmerNBA) May 22, 2018
33 ppg, 9.4 apg, 9 rpg, 1.4 spg, 54% FG
6 40-point games (46, 45, 44, 44, 43, 42)
3 triple doubles
2 buzzer-beaters
There are some people that couldn’t put together those numbers with their “my player” on NBA 2K. So leave it to C.J. McCollum to say what we all are thinking:
Damn that shit look fake https://t.co/Y1cYBR4Qg1

Contrary to what McCollum’s eyes may want to tell him, what LeBron is doing is very real, even if it feels like a dream. For the Celtics however, it’s turned into a nightmare, one they’ll have to relive for at least two more games.
