In the 2018 NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks own three first round draft picks (No. 3, 19 and 30). The Hawks’ future success could depend on how they decided to approach the draft this summer.

Just like the Portland Trail Blazers last summer, the Atlanta Hawks own three first round picks in the 2018 NBA Draft. After a year where they only went 24-58, having three first round picks is an excellent way to start a rebuild. The question is, will the Hawks keep all three picks?

Last year, the Blazers traded two of their first round picks to move into the top 10 of the draft to select Zach Collins. The Hawks already own a high lottery pick, but the other two picks could be in play if the right deal is on the table.

The Hawks need to add fresh, young talent to their roster and it starts with the draft. For right now, let’s say the Hawks keep all three picks. With their first pick at No. 3, we will assume the Hawks take one of the big men — either Jaren Jackson Jr., Marvin Bagley III or Mohamed Bamba.

With the 19th pick, the Hawks will be looking to add talent at the forward or guard positions. They will already have two young big men to build around and now will be searching for more backcourt depth. With that mind, here are five options for the Hawks at pick No. 19.
