With numerous roster spots to fill this offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers will need to address the frontcourt, specifically the center position. Here are five big men the Lakers could target during 2018 NBA free agency.

The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the few teams with enough cap space to make a multitude of offers to several free agents this offseason. While all eyes will be on LeBron James and Paul George, the Lakers will have many open spots on the roster to fill, particularly in the frontcourt.

Brook Lopez started 72 games at center for the Lakers this past season, but he’s an unrestricted free agent and might garner multiple offers from other teams. Ivica Zubac and Thomas Bryant are inexperienced, unproven and not guaranteed to even make the roster next year. Julius Randle is a restricted free agent and could find himself playing elsewhere next season.

In order for the Lakers to bolster their frontcourt, they will have to target multiple players ranging from young athletic big men to veteran journeymen who can shore up the paint.
