Highlights

With all his stat-stuffing abilities, DeMarcus Cousins is capable of putting up some truly jaw-dropping stat lines, and he did that throughout his shortened 2017-18 season.

Returning to Sacramento for the first time since the trade in the early weeks of the season, Cousins was looking for payback on the team that said it wouldn’t trade him, only to do just that less than a month later.

To say that Cousins balled out would be an understatement, as he dropped 41 points, 23 rebounds and six assists in a victory.

Against the Denver Nuggets in early December, Cousins had another 40-20 game, finishing with 40 points, 22 rebounds and four blocks in a nine-point victory.

Only four days away from his terrible injury, Cousins filled it up once again, with a triple-double of 44 points, 23 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals in an overtime victory against the Chicago Bulls. He became the first player with a 40-20-10 stat line since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar way back in 1972.
