2. Shake Milton, SG – SMU

Another player who could fit the wing mold the Bulls are searching for is Shake Milton out of Southern Methodist University. During his junior season at SMU, Milton compiled averages of 18.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contest. In other words, he can do a bit of everything.

For example, due to his versatility, Milton can be plugged in at the 1, 2 or 3 spots. He is considered an above-average ball-handler and playmaker, which essentially means he is more than capable of getting a team into its offensive sets.

Similar to Bates-Diop, Milton can score effectively on floaters and runners. On top of that, Milton is a legitimate floor-spacer as well, as he converted 43.4 percent of his attempts from 3-point range in 2017-18. He shot 42.7 percent from distance during his three-year collegiate career.

As far as the negatives are concerned, there aren’t many to speak of. He isn’t considered to be an overly explosive player by any means and he may have a difficult time keeping up with quicker players at the NBA level. Also, he isn’t known for finishing well at the rim.

Overall, though, Milton is just the kind of versatile player the Bulls need and he definitely deserves strong consideration if he’s still around when the Bulls are slated to make their selection.
