1. Robert Williams

Texas A&M Aggies center Robert Williams is all the Washington Wizards need and then some in this year’s NBA Draft. If he’s still available when the 15th pick comes around, they would be crazy not to take him.

Williams averaged 10.2 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 1.4 assists per game in 30 appearances with the Aggies. He led the SEC in blocks (78) and rebounds per game while coming in second in blocks per game. He’s a 6’9″ big man who knows how to make his presence known on both ends.

Williams put up seven double-doubles in his sophomore season with Texas A&M. His best game of the season, he came off the bench. Williams scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds on 10-of-12 shooting against Penn State back on Nov. 21.

Williams swatted a career-high seven blocks against Alabama in the NCAA Tournament this past March. His 7’9″ wingspan makes him a solid presence in the paint. At 240 pounds, he’ll also be hard to move in the paint.

He’s got potential to become a solid NBA player given the right scenario. He’s a player that can run the floor and finish at the rim while also protecting the rim and still staying out of foul trouble. That’s exactly what the Washington Wizards desperately need in their frontcourt.
