The Washington Wizards have a first round pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. Here’s a look at five potential options for them with pick No. 15.

The 2018 NBA Draft is right around the corner and the Washington Wizards own the 15th pick in the draft. For the first time since the 2015 NBA Draft, the Wizards have a selection in the first round.

The last time the Wizards were in this position, things were a bit different. This time around, the biggest need, among other things, is adding size in the frontcourt and depth to their bench. Marcin Gortat and Ian Mahinmi haven’t exactly worked out, but luckily for them, Gortat is approaching the final season on his deal.

Mike Scott worked out as a wild card in the free agency market. Scott averaged 8.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists during the regular season, but he’ll be an unrestricted free agent this summer and probably highly sought out after his performance in 2017-18.

With that being said, adding a player who can make an impact right away should be a priority for the Wizards’ front office. They aren’t in the lottery, but this year’s draft class is fairly deep. Depending on who they land in the NBA Draft, they will have an opportunity to build a better core around John Wall and Bradley Beal. Here’s a look at five options for the Washington Wizards with the No. 15 pick.
