Consistent jump shooter

Despite McDowell-White only shooting 27.3 percent from 3-point line, he is a capable shooter off the catch in spot-up situations. His lack of help offensively forces him to take some rushed and contested 3-pointers.

However, he is a serviceable stationary 3-point shooter off the catch. In my scouting video of McDowell-White, you can find a number of catch-and-shoot jumpers. His mechanics are far from broken and he could probably use a little more lift on his jumper. He is still fairly consistent off the catch, even though he does not get as many shooting opportunities off the catch as you’d like.

Also, McDowell-White showcases natural touch on floaters and shot 81 percent from the free throw line this season. Both of those are encouraging indicators of even more shooting development.
