2018 NBA Mock Draft: Luka Doncic is still No. 1 in post-lottery edition

The Clippers take Jontay Porter after obtaining back-to-back lottery picks. The depth at center for the Clippers is atrocious. With DeAndre Jordan on a player option, they better hope he opts in. Jontay could be brought along slowly playing spot minutes for Jordan (if he stays) and will give the Clippers a playmaker and a floor-spacer at the 5.

Porter is one of the youngest prospects in this class, and how polished he is already as a prospect is amazing. He’s not the greatest athlete either, but is easily the best passing big man in this entire class. Porter is also an extremely underrated defender. Even though he does not put up high block numbers, he challenges a lot of shots making quality rim rotations. At such a young age Porter could develop athletically as well after he works on his body some more.
