Highlights

Like so many Magic players, Vucevic’s highlights came early in the season as the team started a surprising 6-2.

In just the second game of the year, a loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Vucevic posted 41 points and 12 rebounds. Incredibly, he went 6-for-8 from 3-point range and showed the offensive game that fans thought they would get to see all season long.

We know now that injury would ultimately derail that from happening, but even before that, Vucevic had reverted back to being the player we know that he is.

Other than that, a strong end to the season when nobody cared and the aim was to lose games was about as good as it got.

Vucevic averaging close to a double-double in both March (16.9 points, 9.5 rebounds per game) and April (10 points, 9.4 rebounds per game).

There were nice moments to enjoy while the Magic continued to lose, but with fans expecting more, these didn’t go down quite as well as years past.
