5. Capitalize off turnovers

As a surprise to no one, the Warriors are the top scoring team in the playoffs, averaging 110.3 points per contest. However, they do have an Achilles heel.

The unfavorable trend in question is turnovers. For all of the offensive firepower they possess, the Warriors can be careless with the basketball at times. In fact, they are currently averaging 13.4 turnovers per contest while the Rockets are the top playoff team in this category with just 9.7 per game.

To put that stat into perspective, the only other eight teams with more turnovers per game than the Warriors have already been eliminated from the postseason. One of the best ways to slow down a team with at least three future Hall-of-Famers on its roster is to find a way to limit the number of possessions and turn any miscues into easy scoring opportunities.

Doing this consistently throughout the series will allow the Rockets to be more than just a speed bump on the Warriors’ march to another Finals appearance.
