The latest Los Angeles Lakers rumors seem to suggest LeBron James and Paul George are more likely to sign with the franchise than most want to believe.

It’s going to be a wild offseason in the NBA. Although there aren’t a ton of teams with significant spending power, there’s sure to be plenty of movement in the coming months. The club primed to be among the most active? The Los Angeles Lakers.

Based on the latest rumors working their way around the interwebs, the Lakers’ roster could look very different come July. We’ve all heard the speculation, and are well aware of the stories that have dominated the headlines. However, when the real fun begins during 2018 NBA free agency, the Lakers could have more success than most expect.

Why? Well, for one, Magic Johnson has primed this franchise for an offseason fireworks show. Second, the rumors suggest they’re at or near the top of several big-name players’ wish lists.

Obviously all rumors have to be taken with a grain of salt. They can be fabricated by a number of sources to create excitement, stir emotions or simply get people talking. Either way, what we’re currently hearing about the Lakers has to have fans of the 16-time NBA champions ready for it to be July already.
