Boston Celtics: 3 takeaways from Game 3 vs. 76ers
2. Everyone eats in Boston
Four players scored in double figures for the C’s in Game 3, as well as two others scoring nine each, showing off their unselfishness as a collective unit and their ability to run Brad Stevens’ offense to perfection.
It’s become fairly repetitive to talk about Boston’s well-rounded offensive play, as anyone is capable of becoming “the guy” on any given night.
That doesn’t, however, make it any less impressive or mind-boggling to watch time and time again.
Try to imagine what a scouting report says about the Celtics. Normally it would probably highlight a singular player to focus on defensively, but against Boston, that’s not really possible.
Throughout the 2018 NBA Playoffs, everyone from Jaylen Brown to Al Horford to Terry Rozier to Jayson Tatum has stepped up offensively, and it’s given the Celtics so many different options on that end of the floor, that opposing teams simply can’t look to zero in on one or two guys.
With their unselfishness in both ball and player movement, that’s a recipe for a dangerous offense, and it should continue for as long as Boston can stave off elimination.
