7. Giannis Antetokounmpo tip-in to beat Celtics

The Boston Celtics refused to roll over for the Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, winning all four games at home to advance in seven games. After going down 2-0, the Bucks absolutely had to win both games in Milwaukee to tie the series up.

After a dominant Game 3, the Bucks found themselves in a rock fight in Game 4. On the game’s penultimate possession, with the score tied, Malcolm Brogdon drove into the paint and missed a layup. With Boston’s Jayson Tatum draped across him, Antetokounmpo grabbed the rebound and tipped it into the basket.

Antetokounmpo’s combination of length and athleticism make him a menace around the basket, and it’s a tall order for anyone — especially a rookie — to keep him ground-bound. But it was still an impressive play as a game-winner in a must-win situation.

Perhaps the most memorable part of the aftermath was not a Milwaukee celebration on the court, but a few hours later when Antetokounmpo attempted to get a table at a local Mexican restaurant and was forced to leave after 10 minutes when no seat opened up. Not the best way to convince him to stay in Milwaukee long-term!
