3. Re-sign the young bench guys

Noah Vonleh, David Nwaba and Sean Kilpatrick all come off the books this offseason, and all have proven their worth so far. The Bulls should be looking to retain all of these guys for a variety of reasons.

For Vonleh, the power forward averaged 6.9 points and 6.9 rebounds in just 19 minutes per game in 21 appearances for the Bulls this season. He has potential to be an enforcer on the boards and of course, his youth at age 22 is a big upside.

For Nwaba, his defensive presence is his biggest asset, but otherwise, he has been a really effective shooter in just two years in the league. He finished this season with an impressive effective field goal percentage of 49.9 percent. He started 21 games for the Bulls this season and while he may have a few other suitors, he will be an attractive add for Chicago going into his age-26 season.

Finally, there is journeyman Sean Kilpatrick, who has played on a whopping six teams in just four seasons. While a lot of teams had their shot with him, the Bulls may have found a great fit who can be attained for cheap.

Granted, it may only be a nine-game sample, but Kilpatrick played his butt off for Chicago at the end of the season, averaging 15.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 0.7 steals per game. He is hungry and like Nwaba, can play multiple positions. For the price GarPax will likely have to pay for these guys, the Bulls could do much worse for the end of their bench.
