5. Figure out Cristiano Felicio

Last summer, the Bulls signed Cristiano Felicio to a ridiculous $32 million contract over four years, with all guaranteed money.

The reason this was such a ridiculous move is at the time, the 24-year-old was concluding his second season with averages of 4.8 points and 4.7 rebounds in a mere 15.8 minutes per game. Judging from that, he wasn’t exactly impressing in his limited minutes, and the limited minutes themselves indicate the team wasn’t focusing on his development.

Now a season later, he has proved little to the Bulls organization after averaging 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds in 17.8 minutes per game. While Chicago would be well-served to seek out his replacement in the draft this summer, it would be wise to figure out what to do with the bloated contract.

One option would be to hope he has some trade allure for the limited upside he flashed in his three 30-minute performances at the tail-end of the season, putting up double-doubles in all of those games. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem very likely.
