Highlights

As expected from someone who can’t create for himself, Hollis-Jefferson had to stuff the stat sheet to make a considerable offensive impact. He did just that on Dec. 14, when he dropped 25 points, seven rebounds, three assists, four steals and two blocks on the New York Knicks:

I know what you’re all thinking, but this was while the Knicks were still “competing.” That performance is verified.

There was also the time he dunked from way outside the restricted area against the actually competitive Miami Heat:

When the Nets and Heat re-matched on the eve of Easter, Rondae had himself a night. With a 20-point, 14-rebound (13 defensive) double-double, he helped LeVert and the gang fend off a hungry playoff contender:

Hollis-Jefferson had 12 double-doubles for the season, and nine games with five or more assists. To say he was a versatile contributor would be an understatement. He also appeared in 13 games in which the team’s defensive rating with him on the floor stayed under 100, which ties with Jarrett Allen (the best rim protector of this rookie class) for the most of such appearances on the team.
