Highlights

As is the case with essentially every player on the team, that short-lived and memorable 6-2 start was about as good as it got for Fournier.

His season-high 32 points in a January win over the Minnesota Timberwolves was a particular bright spot.

So too were the 28 points he put up in a win over the Brooklyn Nets, the team’s fourth game of the season and an early indicator of how good both he and the team could be.

Beyond the scoring outbursts, however, there were some lowlights as well, with Fournier missing the last 17 games of the season due to injury.

That the team won five of those at a time when they were trying to tank and looked more cohesive on both ends without Fournier was a little concerning.

That being said, there’s nobody like Evan Fournier on this team, and the nights when he was feeling it offensively were some of the better moments of the season for the team.
