The Orlando Magic had another disappointing season in 2017-18, with the often impressive Evan Fournier personifying some of the issues on this team.

When the 2017-18 NBA season began for the Orlando Magic, there were a couple of players who were earmarked as needing to have the best seasons of their careers for the team to be relevant.

Perhaps none more so than Aaron Gordon, and although he had a season which was hampered by injuries, he still looks about as good as this team could’ve hoped for right now.

The other important player, at least from an offensive standpoint, was Evan Fournier.

Fournier had finished the previous season showing flashes of the kind of diverse offensive game that the team was going to need to make an unexpected playoff push. This didn’t quite materialize, however, with the Magic finishing with a disappointing 25-57 record.

In a way though, Fournier did kind of hold up his end of the bargain, leading the team in scoring with 17.8 points per game, which was also a career high.

Let’s take a look back at his season to see how else Fournier influenced the team, both in a positive and negative way.
