The Oklahoma City Thunder were a first round exit for the second consecutive year. Here are three takeaways from a frustrating season of Thunder basketball.

Those screeching and crashing noises you heard in the distance were the Oklahoma City Thunder’s season coming to an end at the hands of a motivated Utah Jazz team. With a 96-91 defeat in Game 6 last Friday, OKC was eliminated from the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs.

The additions of Paul George and Carmelo Anthony brought lofty expectations for a franchise that thought it was two or three pieces away from contending for a place in the Finals. Game 6 in Utah put an end to those hopes while reaffirming something we worried about months ago: this group has no chemistry.
