Final grade

This grade could have easily been an A, but Evans only played in 52 games. The oft-injured Stephen Curry played 51 games this season. It felt like Curry missed a lot and Tyreke missed a little. But it was about the same, and both players season’s should take a hit for that.

Fortunately, when Evans played, he was fantastic. He was the only Grizzly who could do anything with the ball when Marc Gasol sat. There were no bigger sources of excitement for Memphis Grizzlies basketball this season than Tyreke Evans.

Now the question becomes: Does he come back? The Grizzlies were the only team to throw him a contract this summer, so perhaps his agent is willing to reward the Memphis front office and come back on one more cheap deal. What Evans does this summer will be fascinating, but based on how he played this year, I bet the Memphis Grizzlies would love to have him back.
