2019 NBA Draft: R.J. Barrett headlines first top 30 big board
By Connor Harr
With all of the high school “All-Star” games officially over, it is time to see where these top incoming freshman stand in terms of NBA potential for the 2019 NBA Draft.
I recently released a 2018 NBA Draft big board comprised of my top 60 prospects. In that big board, some prospects that have declared for the draft were left off. Those prospects were excluded because they still have not hired an agent and have elected to maintain their college eligibility for now.
I sort of played the guessing game with assuming who will elect to return to school. With draft combine invites going out on Friday, anticipate a lot of prospects to announce they will return to school without a combine invite.
Likewise, this 2019 NBA Draft big board is just a rough baseline of where I rank some of the incoming freshman along with returning college players. With the 2019 incoming freshman class being relatively weak, there are a lot of current college prospects on this list. Along with the initial ranking, I will introduce you to each prospect.
