The Golden State Warriors were raining 3s Saturday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, as they beat up on the unexpected competitors in Game 1.

In Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinals matchup, Klay Thompson led the way for the Golden State Warriors with 27 points and six rebounds, helping the Dubs effectively put the game out of reach by halftime.

Kevin Durant ended up with 26 points on 10-of-21 shooting from the field, while Draymond Green dropped a triple-double of 16 points, 15 rebounds and 11 dimes, adding three steals and two blocks for good measure.

Anthony Davis led the way for New Orleans Pelicans with a double-double of 21 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks. And while his teammate Rajon Rondo flirted with a triple-double with nine points 11 assists and eight rebounds, Davis hardly had the help he needed from his supporting cast in the end.

Here are three big takeaways for the Pelicans in Game 1.
