The Milwaukee Bucks traveled for Game 7, trying to beat the Boston Celtics on their home floor.

The Milwaukee Bucks played Game 7 against the Boston Celtics Saturday night, trying to reverse the trend in the series of the home team winning every game. Unfortunately for the Bucks, they could not change this trend, losing the game and therefore the series.

This means that the Bucks still have not won a playoff series since the 2000-01 season. This is the longest active streak without a series win in the NBA. For a team with this talent, this is simply unacceptable.

It was not for lack of effort from the team’s stars. Giannis Antetokounmpo collected 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists. He was kept to a reasonably poor 7-of-17 from the field. Khris Middleton scored a game-high 32 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field and 5-of-9 from deep.

Eric Bledsoe finally came alive in the series. He was aggressive going to the hoop and on defense. He collected 23 points, three rebounds and two assists. The bench was quiet again, as only Jabari Parker was a factor with nine points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.

For the Celtics, Terry Rozier had 26 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Al Horford also had 26 points to go along with eight rebounds. Rookie sensation Jayson Tatum had 20 points, six rebounds and five assists. This begins our three takeaways from Game 7.
