The Washington Wizards have been knocked out of the 2018 NBA Playoffs. Here’s a look at three reasons why their season is over.

The 2017-18 season has come to an end for the Washington Wizards. The Wizards fell 102-92 in Game 6 to the Toronto Raptors to lose in the first round of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, 4-2. It’s a bitter end to what was a promising start for Washington.

They had some adversity to work through as their floor general John Wall missed 42 games due to a knee injury. Washington adjusted in February, going to an 8-4 record but after that, went 7-13 to finish the regular season.

Wall made his return to the court before the postseason began, but things still weren’t in sync. They lost two games in a row before winning two games at home to tie the series at 2-2. After going 8-0 at home in the last two postseasons, Washington dropped Game 6 at home, snapping a winning streak in the process.

All isn’t lost, but the postseason was an ugly display for the Wizards. Here’s a look at three reasons why the season is over.
