2. Minnesota is just scratching the surface with its talent

Times look to be changing in Minnesota. The Wolves made their first postseason since the 2004, ending a long playoff drought. The last time they made the playoffs, a guy by the name of Kevin Garnett was running the show. In their last appearance, Garnett and company made it all the way to the Western Conference Finals.

While he was with the Timberwolves, Garnett participated in eight postseasons, making it out of the first round just once. This could be foreshadowing, except this Timberwolves roster is a whole lot more talented than they one KG had.

Now, with Karl-Anthony Towns, Jimmy Butler, Andrew Wiggins and Taj Gibson, they’re just scratching the surface of what they’re capable of. They’ve got something special brewing so long as they don’t mess things up with bad trades or signings. Another good word of advice: Give KAT the ball!
