2. Domantas feeling it again

For anyone who’s been watching the Pacers all year, what Domantas Sabonis has done over the last week isn’t the least bit surprising.

For the third game in a row, Sabonis was feeling it. He scored 19 points in only 23 minutes, and was a +28 in that time, tying Lance Stephenson for the team lead. Over the last three games, Sabonis is 26-for-35 from the field, and the Pacers’ offense has generally looked crisper when he has been out there.

It presents an interesting dilemma. While Myles Turner has been good and provides rim protection that Sabonis can’t, it’s unclear whether that benefit is worth the drop-off at the other end. Turner himself was really good on Friday with 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting, but if the Pacers are going to win this series in Cleveland on Sunday, they’re going to need to do it with offense.

Turner has averaged just 3.2 more minutes per game throughout the series, but even flipping that number on its head could make the difference in a Game 7 that figures to come down to the wire.

At least it will if this guy has anything to say about it…
