In a series where home-court advantage is king, the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 6 to force a Game 7.

The Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of their first round playoff series. As has been the case with every other game, the home team came out on top. What is slightly different about this game is the Celtics won the first quarter but lost the game. This is the first time this has happened all series.

If was the second quarter of this game that would decide the outcome. The Bucks played tremendous defense, holding the Celtics to just 15 points for the quarter. Milwaukee ended up with 26 points to take a nine-point lead into halftime.

From there, the Celtics were outscored by the Bucks 59-57, resulting in an 11-point win for the home team.

The Bucks started second-year center Thon Maker over Tyler Zeller for this game. The energy Maker brings to the team is intangible, but entirely noticeable. There is a risk of the bench not coming out with the same intensity when Maker is starting.

However, now that Jabari Parker is fully healthy, he is quickly becoming the leader of the second unit. Matthew Dellavedova is also a high-energy player who does not allow the offense or defense to become stagnant without Giannis Antetokounmpo on the court. This begins our three takeaways from Game 6.
