1. The fourth quarter once again hurts Washington in the end

The Washington Wizards were outscored by the Toronto Raptors 29-20 in the fourth quarter. It proved to be the difference, as Toronto won by 10 points and it was once again the Wizards’ toughest stretch.

In the fourth quarter, Washington was 8-for-25 (32 percent) from the field and 1-for-11 (9.1 percent) from the arc. The lid was on the basket for the Wizards as Delon Wright got hot and poured in 11 points for the home team.

Wright did a little bit of everything to give the Wizards their third loss of the series as he also was 4-for-4 from the free throw stripe. While he generated a +9 plus/minus score, Washington built up a plus/minus score of -9 in the quarter. Bradley Beal was a -12 as he shot 1-for-6 (16.7 percent) from the floor. John Wall went 2-for-7 (28.6 percent) from the field.

Call it fatigue, or something else entirely, but the Washington Wizards’ playoff lives are now on the line. They can’t afford many more letdowns or they could be seeing their season come to an end soon.
