With a 108-98 victory in Game 5 against the Washington Wizards, the Toronto Raptors moved just one game away from advancing to the second round.

The Toronto Raptors pulled out a huge victory against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night, winning Game 5 by a score of 108-98 to take a 3-2 series lead with Game 6 set for Friday night in the nation’s capital.

DeMar DeRozan had another fantastic performance in this first round playoff series, finishing with 32 points on 12-of-24 shooting to go along with five assists.

The X-factor for Toronto in its Game 5 victory was backup point guard Delon Wright, who finished with 18 points in just 26 minutes.

John Wall nearly finished with a triple-double, as the five-time All-Star had 26 points, nine rebounds and nine assists, but also coughed up seven turnovers in the process.

Toronto has a chance to close out the series in Game 6, but with a Wizards squad that’s going to throw everything and the kitchen sink at the Raptors in their own arena, We The North will have to put on a special performance to get the job done.
